MUNSHIGANJ, Bangladesh, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Cattle markets in Bangladesh's Munshiganj have been brimming with sacrificial animals, mostly cattle and cows, as the holy Eid al-Adha festival is approaching.
Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice, is one of the most important holidays for Muslims when animals are ritually sacrificed to commemorate the mercy of their God. People also worship, feast with loved ones and distribute part of the meat to the needy.
