During the final show, the 10 students showed their performances to the judges, such as dancing, singing, Kung Fu, and paper cutting. Omogolo Mokgware of grade four won the grand prize by performing paper cutting, while Leruri Modiga and Lelentle Kesianye of grade six won the first and second prizes, respectively.

The Confucius Institute at the University of Botswana started teaching Chinese classes at Legae English Medium School in the capital of Gaborone in September 2018. In 2019, the school added the Chinese language to its curriculum. Each week 350 students at the school from grades three to six have two Chinese lessons.
