JERUSALEM, June 18 (Xinhua) -- A four-day international technology festival opened in the southern Israeli city of Beer Sheva on Sunday.
The event, titled SCE Tech Fest 23, was organized by Shamoon College of Engineering, the largest Israeli engineering college, in collaboration with universities from India, Singapore, Estonia, Denmark and Germany.
Leading global companies, including the Chinese-Israeli crop protection company Adama and Israel Chemicals, also take part in the event.
The festival includes lectures, exhibitions, and hackathons in the fields of engineering, sciences, visual communications, and architecture.
Among the topics at the convention are urban renewal outside the central region, the fusion of information technology and energy, thermal energy storage, sustainable energy, lightweight construction with high-strength steel. ■
