COLOMBO, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Nearly 1,000 yoga enthusiasts from around the world gathered at the Independence Square in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in a bid to celebrate the upcoming International Yoga Day, which falls on June 21 this year.
The climax of the yoga event was the yoga practice and meditation session for the participants conducted by experts from 25 eminent yoga institutes in Sri Lanka.
