“Many Chinese people asked me, ‘You’re young, and you’re not Chinese. Can you make a good prescription for us?’ I always replied, ‘I am young, but my prescription is not.’”
Low Minghan from Malaysia is the deputy director of Huang Huang Jingfang Studio, Nanjing Traditional Chinese Medicine Outpatient Department. He came to China ten years ago to search for the magnificent cultural treasure trove behind those “secret prescriptions”.
Here he studied traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) which he had longed for and became a TCM practitioner that his family and friends are proud of. He also met the person he loves the most here.
“Studying TCM in China is the best decision I’ve ever made,” he said.
