BEIJING, June 13 (Xinhua) -- "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," the latest sequel in the Transformers franchise, continued to lead the Chinese daily box office chart on its fourth day of screening on Monday, data from the China Movie Data Information Network showed.
The sci-fi action franchise generated a revenue of around 23.33 million yuan (about 3.26 million U.S. dollars) on Monday.
American animation "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" came in second, raking in 7.39 million yuan Monday.
"Fast X," the latest installment in the Fast and Furious action franchise, ranked third on the box office chart with a daily earning of about 7.11 million yuan on Monday. ■
