PANAMA CITY, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Anderlecht defender Michael Murillo scored two second-half goals as Panama twice came from behind to clinch a 3-2 home win over Nicaragua in their friendly on Saturday.

Widman Talavera put the visitors ahead on the stroke of halftime before Murillo equalized with a 55th-minute strike at Estadio Universitario.

Oscar Acevedo restored Nicaragua's lead on the hour but Panama rallied with two goals in less than five minutes from Murillo and Roderick Miller.

"It was difficult for us, we struggled for mobility and control of the ball," a relieved Panama head coach Thomas Christiansen said after the match.

"We will take our time to analyze the game and try to draw the necessary conclusions. The support that we received from the fans was amazing," he added.

Christiansen's men will now turn their attention to the CONCACAF Nations League semifinal clash against Canada at Allegiant Stadium in Nevada on June 15. Nicaragua, meanwhile, will meet Uruguay and Paraguay in away friendlies on June 14 and 18.

Both Panama and Nicaragua will then take part in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, to be played in the United States and Canada from June 24 to July 16.
