DINAJPUR, Bangladesh, June 6 (Xinhua) -- The sweet season of lychees is now in full swing across Bangladesh, including the Dinajpur district which is famous for production of the juicy summer fruit.
Lychee is a commercially important fruit crop in the South Asian country and has a short season usually ripening in June to July. Light rain and moderate temperature boost this year's bumper crop.
