SINGAPORE, June 1 (Xinhua) -- May 31 marks this year's World Otter Day, a special day aiming to raise awareness about otters and their protection. Wild smooth-coated otters often make their way around Singapore's Marina Bay area, becoming the unique "pedestrians" on the street of the city.
The World Otter Day falls on the last Wednesday in May every year.
