YAOUNDE, May 25 (Xinhua) -- Guy Feutchine, coach of Cameroon's under-23 national football team, convened a 30-man squad of domestic players on Thursday for the upcoming U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Feutchine unveiled the list Thursday afternoon, which consists of players sourced from domestic football professional leagues and training centers.

The training camp is scheduled to commence on May 26 and conclude on June 9.

Cameroon was ousted by Gabon in the U23 qualifiers. However, the Indomitable Lions lodged a grievance with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), alleging Gabon's use of an ineligible player.

Last week, CAF announced the disqualification of Gabon's U23 team from the forthcoming AFCON due to age falsification of a player. Gabon has contested this decision and a definitive ruling is anticipated in the upcoming days.

The U23 Africa Cup of Nations, set for next month in Morocco, will act as a qualifying tournament for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
