BEIJING, May 18 (Xinhua) -- "Fast X" topped the Chinese mainland box office on the first day of screening on Wednesday, data from the China Movie Data Information Network showed.
The latest installment in the Fast and Furious action franchise pocketed over 103.84 million yuan (about 14.83 million U.S. dollars) on Wednesday.
The domestic road comedy "Godspeed" came in second, generating about 6.87 million yuan.
It was followed by "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3," which earned nearly 5.94 million yuan on Wednesday. ■
