TUNIS, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Tunisia and South Korea on Tuesday vowed to expand and diversify their bilateral cooperation in various fields.
This came during a meeting between Tunisian Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar and Park Heong-Joon, the mayor of South Korean city of Busan and also special envoy of the South Korean president, on the sidelines of the second Korea-Tunisia-Africa Business Forum held in the Tunisian capital Tunis.
While hailing the success of the two-day form which ended on Tuesday, Ammar recommended making the forum a regular event, said a statement issued by the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.
Park Heong-Joon, for his part, expressed satisfaction with the level of friendship and cooperation between the two sides.
He said the African continent and the tripartite cooperation among Tunisia, South Korea and Africa is among the priorities of the South Korean government as it prepares to organize the Korea-Africa Summit in 2024. ■
