ACCRA, May 5 (Xinhua) -- Ghana's U-23 men's team has been drawn in Group A alongside host Morocco, Congo, and Guinea in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the Ghana Football Association said Friday.
The 2023 U23 AFCON, scheduled from June 24 to July 8, will be used as a qualifier for the Paris 2024 Olympics Games.
The Black Meteors will play their first game against Congo on June 25 before taking on Guinea and Morocco.
Ghana qualified for the tournament by eliminating Algeria 2-1 on aggregate. ■
