BEIJING, May 1 (Xinhua) -- Shi Liang scored a late goal to help Meizhou Hakka tie with Dalian Pro 1-1 in the fourth round of 2023 Chinese Super League (CSL) on Monday.
Dalian started strongly but missed several opportunities. The 36-year-old Yan Xiangchuang took Dalian 1-0 ahead through a counterattack in the 63rd minute. However, Meizhou's Shi Liang leveled the game with a close-range shot in the 88th minute.
With the result, Dalian are seventh on the CSL table with five points, while Meizhou still stay second last.
Dalian Pro will play away to Shanghai Shenhua on Friday, while Meizhou Hakka will face Shangdong at home on Saturday. ■
