LANGFANG, April 30 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition on Pakistani truck art kicked off in Langfang, north China's Hebei Province on Saturday as part of the celebration of the Pakistan-China Year of Tourism Exchanges.
The three-month exhibition, titled "Phool Patti: Jingle Journey," showcases artworks that highlight the characteristics and creativity of truck art and blend exotic and Chinese elements.
They were created by Pakistani artists during their one-month stay in China.
In Pakistan, painting trucks with vibrant patterns is a popular decorative culture.
As the art evolved, common objects in daily life also become new carriers of the truck art.
At the event, the audience can learn about the history, culture and artistic connotations of the truck art, and create their own hand-painted works under the guidance of artists.
