GENEVA, April 26 (Xinhua) -- The 48th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, the first offline edition since the outbreak of the COVID-19, kicked off here Wednesday.
A total of 140 exhibitors from China will display more than 160 inventions involving artificial intelligence, environmental protection and machinery.
Some of the Chinese exhibitors are students from primary and middle schools. Feng Jiashu, an 11-year-old primary school student from north China's Tianjin, brought his invention "Electronic Bird's Nest on the Internet of Things," which attracted many visitors.
Joe Lin, who is from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, told Xinhua that the university presented 19 inventions covering such fields as biotechnology, electronic engineering and artificial intelligence.
Chinese Ambassador to Switzerland Wang Shihting attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition. He told Xinhua that China's exhibitor team is outstanding in terms of quantity and quality of inventions.
