ZHENGZHOU, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Slovenian striker Robert Beric scored twice to help Tianjin Jinmen Tigers edge Zhejiang FC 2-1 in the 2023 Chinese Super League (CSL) on Friday.
Zhejiang went 1-0 ahead through a header from Croatian midfielder Franko Andrijasevic in the 14th minute before Beric equalized in the 26th minute, and then scored again to seal the win three minutes later.
Ai Kesen's header broke the deadlock for Chengdu Rongcheng in the 21st minute against Cangzhou Mighty Lions, and South Korean midfielder Kim Min-woo doubled the lead nine minutes later. Wang Peng struck a consolation goal for Cangzhou in the 57th minute.
Elsewhere, Xu Haoyang's volley saw Shanghai Shenhua edge Meizhou Hakka 1-0, Henan played out a 0-0 draw with Qingdao Hainiu, and Shandong Taishan drew with Nantong Zhiyun 1-1. ■
