BHAKTAPUR, Nepal, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Nepalese started to celebrate the annual Bisket Jatra festival on April 10 this year to mark the start of the Nepali new year and welcome the arrival of spring in Bhaktapur, Nepal.
The nine-day-long festival sees various rituals and celebrations that are closely linked to ancient local beliefs, including pulling the chariot of Lord Bhairav on the first day.
