JERUSALEM, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Tensions between Israelis and Palestinians remain high on Friday while fightings between Israel and militants in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip appeared to have calmed down, lowering fears of a major escalation in the region.
A tourist was killed and five other tourists were injured on Friday night during a shooting and run-over attack in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv. The attacker was identified as an Arab citizen of Israel from Kafr Qasim, east of Tel Aviv, Israel's state-owned Kan TV news reported.
