LOS ANGELES, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Chinese action comedy film "Ride On" opened Friday in a limited theatrical release in North America.
The film is being released by Well Go USA Entertainment in Mandarin with English subtitles in nearly 50 selected theaters in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Honolulu, Chicago, New York, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and a few other North American cities with a large overseas Chinese population.
Directed by Larry Yang, "Ride On" stars Chinese Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan as a washed-up stuntman battling debt collectors over ownership of his stunt horse. The film also stars Liu Haocun, Kevin Guo, and Wu Jing, among others.
"Ride On" currently boasts a rating of 9.2 points out of 10 on the Maoyan platform from over 12,000 viewers. ■
