A cargo train carrying goods such as auto spare parts and clothing departed for Kazakhstan's Kostanay on Saturday from Dingxi City, northwest China's Gansu Province.
It marks the first international freight service launched in Dingxi to a Central Asian country.
The train, with a cargo value of nearly 3 million U.S. dollars, is expected to arrive in Kostanay in 9 days.
