GENEVA, March 24 (Xinhua) -- The United States remained on top of the newly-released FIFA Women's World Ranking on Friday while the top five teams consolidated their spots.
The U.S., Germany, Sweden, England and France kept the previous top-five order of the last ranking on December 9, 2022. During the past three months, 112 international matches were played.
Australia bounced back into the top 10 after victories over Spain, Jamaica and the Czech Republic. The upcoming Women's World Cup will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
The next Women's World Ranking will be published on June 9, 2023. ■
