The first winter after the Beijing Winter Olympics saw a peak season for the ski resorts in Chongli, the small town which hosted most of the skiing events in 2022. Thaiwoo Ski Resort has received over 10,000 visitors per day during the Chinese New Year holiday.
Qi Hong, Chairman of the Board of Thaiwoo Ski Resort, told Xinhua the ski industry in Chongli has benefitted greatly from the hosting of the Beijing Winter Olympics and that Thaiwoo will continue to focus on utilizing and further developing the legacy of the Games.
