JERUSALEM, March 15 (Xinhua) -- French side SIG Strasbourg achieved an 80-65 away win over Israeli champions Hapoel Holon in the round of 16 of the FIBA Basketball Champions League on Wednesday evening.

It was Strasbourg's fourth win in five games in the four-team Group I, while Holon remain winless.

Paul Lacombe inspired the visitors to a 26-18 lead in the first quarter at the Toto Arena.

The French side increased their margin to 45-31 at halftime, thanks to Leo Cavaliere and Marcus Keene.

Cavaliere continued to score in the third quarter, which ended 64-49.

Javin DeLaurier and Hayden Dalton cut the margin to 60-66, but 10 consecutive points by Rodions Kurucs secured the win for Strasburg.

Cavaliere contributed 17 points and seven rebounds for Strasbourg, while Kurcus added 16 points and eight rebounds. Manny Harris scored a game-high 21 points for Holon.

Strasbourg will host Israel's Hapoel Jerusalem on March 22. With both teams having already secured their places in the quarterfinals, the game will decide who will finish as group leaders and enjoy home advantage.

Holon will host French side JDA Dijon, with both sides having lost their chances of advancing to the quarterfinals.
