GENEVA, March 7 (Xinhua) -- The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) announced Tuesday the new men's world rankings, with Spain remaining first.
The top 20 places were almost the same as the last one in November 2022, with Puerto Rico the only change, up one spot to number 20.
The United States stayed second and Australia third, followed by Argentina, France, Serbia and Slovenia in sequence.
The Draw of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 will be held in Manila, the Philippines, on April 29. The draw principles will be based on this ranking and on geographical principles, the FIBA announced. ■
