BEIJING, March 3 (Xinhua) -- Midfielder Lucas Morelatto has joined Nantong Zhiyun, the newly-appointed Chinese Super League (CSL) club announced.
The 29-year-old, who has Brazilian-Italian dual citizenship, is an attacking midfielder good at long shot, the Nantong side said in a statement.
Morelatto joined Nantong Zhiyun as a free agent after finishing his spell in the Japanese second-tier club Iwate Grulla Morioka, where he made 79 appearances, scored nine goals and made six assists in two seasons.
He is valued at 225,000 euros by the transfer market.
The timetable of the 2023 CSL campaign remains undecided amid speculations that it will start in mid-April. ■
