BUENOS AIRES, March 2 (Xinhua) -- World champions Argentina will host Panama and Curacao in friendlies later this month, the South American nation's football association said on Thursday.
The Albiceleste will meet Panama in Buenos Aires on March 23 and Curacao in Santiago del Estero five days later, the entity said in a statement.
The fixtures will mark Argentina's return to the pitch for the first time since their World Cup final victory over France in Qatar on December 18.
Argentina and Panama have played each other twice before, the former winning both games with an aggregate score of 8-1.
Curacao, currently 86th in the FIFA world rankings, and Argentina have never met in an official match. ■
