BEIJING, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- A survivor was rescued from the debris in the Antakya district of Hatay province by Chinese and local rescuers on Sunday afternoon, 150 hours after the quake hit the region.
The death toll from the earthquakes that rocked Türkiye on Feb. 6 has climbed to 29,605 as of Sunday evening, according to official figures.
Thousands of rescuers continued to search for any sign of life in collapsed multi-storey buildings. Hopes for finding alive survivors are fading, but the teams still manage some incredible rescues.
China has offered an array of rescue teams to Türkiye since massive earthquakes and aftershocks in an effort to help search for survivors.
