ISTANBUL, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese government delivered its first supplies to Türkiye for earthquake relief on Saturday.
A Turkish Airlines cargo plane carrying the first batch of 40,000 blankets from China landed at Istanbul Airport on Saturday afternoon, after taking off from Shanghai Pudong Airport. China will send other supplies in the coming days.
Several Chinese search and rescue teams are also working in the earthquake zone round the clock to save those trapped under the ruins of numerous buildings.
