BEIJING, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- A magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck Türkiye's southern province of Kahramanmaras at 4:17 a.m. local time (0117 GMT) on Monday, followed by a magnitude 6.4 quake a few minutes later in the country's southern province of Gaziantep and a magnitude 7.6 earthquake at 1:24 p.m. local time (1024 GMT) in Kahramanmaras Province.

Many countries and global aid agencies have offered rescue teams and relief supplies to quake-hit regions.

A 82-member China Search and Rescue Team departed from Beijing for Türkiye on Tuesday to join earthquake relief efforts in the country. Members of the Blue Sky Rescue (BSR) team and rescuers of Shenzhen Rescue Volunteers Federation (SRVF) also headed for Türkiye to join the rescue work.

After flying over 8,000 km on a chartered Air China plane, the 82-member China Search and Rescue Team arrived in Türkiye on Wednesday and reached earthquake-ravaged Hatay to assist in rescue efforts.

They have been racing against time to save those trapped under the rubble in the freezing weather.

The miracles of pulling out survivors from under the rubble of collapsed buildings were encouraging.

In Antakya, Hatay, Chinese and Turkish rescuers successfully saved three women from the rubble of collapsed buildings on Thursday through their joint operations.

Türkiye's death toll from the massive earthquakes climbed to 18,342, with another 74,242 injured, the country's disaster agency said on Friday. Search and rescue efforts are still underway.
