PHNOM PENH, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Over past years, mutual trust and support between Cambodia and China have largely consolidated bilateral relations, said Cambodian officials.
According to the Undersecretary of State and Spokesman Penn Sovicheat from the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce, economic cooperation between the two countries has deepened under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), and the Cambodia-China Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA).
He also says the Chinese-invested Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway has injected momentum into the development of the travel, transport and logistics industry in the country.
For Cambodia's tourism minister, he is eyeing the huge potential of the Chinese outbound tourism market.
An official with Apsara National Authority, which is the government agency of Cambodia responsible for managing, safeguarding and preserving the famed Angkor Archeological Park, hails the two country's cooperation in conserving the Angkor.
