ISLAMABAD, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- Two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a military statement said on Friday.
The clash happened in North Waziristan district of the province where the operation was conducted against the terrorists who remained actively involved in militancy against security forces, the army's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in the statement.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, the statement added.
"The incident re-vindicates Pak Army's resolve to have zero tolerance for terrorism in Pakistan and reaffirms its determination to take on any and all entities that resort to violence," the ISPR said. ■
