NAIROBI, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi in Kenya has held an event to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year that fell on Sunday. A series of cultural activities drew many participants, enabling them to experience the essence of traditional Chinese culture while promoting mutual understanding between the Chinese and Kenyan peoples.
