TUNIS, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- China and Tunisia should explore the potential of bilateral cooperation further and push for stronger bilateral relations, Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia Wan Li said on Thursday.
In a reception to ring in the coming Chinese New Year, Wan extended best wishes to the representatives of Chinese-funded enterprises, the Chinese medical team and the Confucius Institute attending the event.
"The year 2022 was a year of significance for China-Tunisia relations, as the heads of state of the two countries met for the first time on the sidelines of the China-Arab States Summit. The two sides reached a series of important consensus and achieved fruitful results," the ambassador said.
In the future, China and Tunisia should actively implement the consensus, he said. ■
