LUOYANG, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- According to the Institute of Archaeology under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, 240 royal storehouse ruins have been discovered recently within the ruins of an ancient palace in the city of Luoyang in central China's Henan Province.
The discovery of these storehouse ruins, which were royal repositories dating back to the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534), is the first time that storage buildings were found in the ancient palace in Luoyang. It is also the highest-ranking ancient storage building known in China by far.
