RIYADH, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- A festive event celebrating the upcoming Spring Festival was staged Saturday at the Chinatown of the Boulevard World in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, to welcome the year of the Rabbit.
Saturday marks a traditional Chinese festival, called Xiao Nian, or "Little Spring Festival", which is celebrated on the 23rd day of the last lunar month. Xiao Nian is seen as a prelude to the Spring Festival holiday season.
