WASHINGTON, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Golden State Warriors cruised to a 144-113 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in front of an NBA-record crowd of 68,323 at the Alamodome, while John Collins finished a tip-in with less than a second remaining to help the Atlanta Hawks edge the Indiana Pacers 113-111 on Friday.

Celebrating the franchise's 50th anniversary season, the Spurs returned to their former home and Friday's attendance shattered the previous record of 62,046 who watched Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls play the Atlanta Hawks at the Georgia Dome on March 27, 1998.

In the venue that witnessed their first NBA championship in 1999, the Spurs saw the defending champions Warriors set a season-high in points, which surpassed a previous high in a 143-141 double-overtime victory over the Atlanta Hawks on January 2.

Golden State had eight players score in double figures, led by Jordan Poole's 25. Donte DiVincenzo scored 22 points, Klay Thompson had 16 and Stephen Curry added 15.

The Spurs have lost four straight and seven of eight. Tre Jones had 21 points and Keldon Johnson added 17.

In Indianapolis, Collins tipped in a missed shot with 0.7 seconds to play to move the Hawks ahead, and the Pacers didn't have enough time to make their shot.

Trae Young scored 26 points and De'Andre Hunter had 25 with a career-high six 3-pointers for the Hawks.

Young sank a 3-pointer to give the Hawks a 111-109 lead with 32.3 seconds remaining, while Buddy Hield hit two free throws to tie it at 111 with 21.5 seconds to go prior to Collins' game winner.

Jonas Valanciunas had 33 points and 16 rebounds to power the New Orleans Pelicans past the Detroit Pistons 116-110.

Domantas Sabonis recorded his fourth triple-double of the season with 19 points, a career-high 16 assists and 15 rebounds, and the Sacramento Kings crushed over the Houston Rockets 139-114.

Also on Friday, the New York Knicks held off the Washington Wizards 112-108, the Oklahoma City Thunder won over the Chicago Bulls 124-110, the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Phoenix Suns 121-116, the Utah Jazz got past the Orlando Magic 112-108, and the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 115-103 for their fifth straight win.
