CHANGCHUN, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Located in northeast China's Jilin Province, Changbai Mountain National Nature Reserve is famous for its well-preserved ecosystem and mountainous landscape.
As the region enters its coldest period of the year, a large number of tourists pour into ski resorts in the Changbai Mountains.
As part of the western Changbai Mountains, Longwanqun National Forest Park has the most volcanic clusters and the largest cluster of crater lakes in northeast China with a combined area of 8,133 hectares.
