MADRID, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- Defending champion Betis has been drawn at home to face Osasuna in the Copa del Rey last 16 after the draw was made at the headquarters of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) on Saturday.
The tie will be a repeat of the 2005 Copa del Rey final, which Betis won 2-1.
FC Barcelona had good luck as they were drawn to play away to Ceuta, who is the only team from the third category (RFEF I) to reach the last 16.
Ceuta is bottom of their group but knocked top-flight strugglers Elche out of the last round, while Barca needed extra time to get past CF Intercity, who plays at the same level, on Wednesday night.
Real Madrid has been handed a difficult tie away to Villarreal, which will be a repeat of the La Liga clash between the two sides this Saturday.
Second division side Sporting Gijon's reward for beating Rayo Vallecano in the last round is a home tie against last season's beaten finalists, Valencia, while Alaves (also in the second division) is at home to Sevilla.
Atletico Madrid will play away to Levante, who beat Getafe 3-2 in the thrilling match in the last round, while Athletic Club Bilbao is at home to Espanyol, and Real Sociedad entertains Mallorca.
The matches will be played over January 17, 18 and 19, with the quarterfinals in the following week. ■
