MORIGAON India, Jan. 6, 2023 (Xinhua) -- A group of Indian artists geared up for the Magh Bihu festival in Morigaon district of India's northeastern state of Assam by creating a makeshift cottage called "Bhelaghar" themed on "Human-elephant conflict" on Wednesday.
The Magh Bihu is an important Assamese harvest festival which marks the end of the harvesting season in the month of Magh (January-February) as per Bengali calendar. It lasts for two days and is a time for communal feasting and bonfires.
