TORONTO, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded 30 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists in a 104-101 overtime victory over the Toronto Raptors in the NBA on Wednesday evening.
Milwaukee wasted a double-digit lead in the dying minutes to allow Toronto to send the game into overtime.
In overtime, Antetokounmpo dished out two assists to teammate Grayson Allen, including the game-winning three-pointer with 11.6 seconds left to secure the victory.
"The last pass to Grayson, it felt like it was a dart to Grayson. Big time play, big time pass," said Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer after the win.
Coming off a career-high 55 points the previous night against the Washington Wizards, Antetokounmpo and his team showed signs of fatigue with a season-worst 13 points in the first quarter and only 39 points entering the halftime break.
Antetokounmpo changed the course of the game in the second half with a 22-point burst to put the Bucks 90-69 ahead with 3:50 left, before the Raptors started their incredible fourth-quarter comeback.
"I think Giannis on a back-to-back used a lot of energy last night and tonight. For him to find a way to get us over the top was huge," added Budenholzer.
Antetokounmpo's triple-double was his second this season, the 31st of his career, and first ever with 20 or more rebounds.
The rest of the team was also a force on the boards, combining for a season-high 73 rebounds, the most by an NBA team in over seven years. ■
