KATHMANDU, Jan. 1 (Xinhua) -- The annual bathing ritual of God Seto Machhindranath was held in Kathmandu, Nepal to wish for longevity and relieving of all beings from any kinds of suffering.
The bathing ceremony, followed by a week-long repainting of the idol carried out by designated priests, starts after the living Goddess Kumari arrives at the premise.
