NEW DELHI, Jan. 1 (Xinhua) -- India's daily COVID-19 caseload Sunday increased to 265, according to federal health ministry data.
The country has also logged three related deaths during the past 24 hours, pushing the overall death toll to 530,705 since the beginning of the pandemic, the ministry said.
According to data released by the government, the active caseload stands at 2,706.
The ministry said 44,145,238 people have been successfully cured and discharged from hospitals.
Over 910 million COVID-19 tests have been conducted across the country, the health ministry said Sunday. ■
