Despite baseless fearmongering by some Western media over China's latest shift on COVID-19 response, words expressing enthusiasm for traveling abroad quickly flooded China's social networks. Ambassy and national tourism boards of various countries, including Australia, Denmark, France, Holland, Portugal, Switzerland, Thailand, Austria, Canada, Norway, etc., have promptly posted welcome notes on the Twitter-like Weibo in a bid to attract Chinese tourists.■
