KATHMANDU, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- People from the Gurung community in traditional attire celebrated the Tamu Lhosar festival on Friday to welcome their new year in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Tamu Lhosar is a significant celebration in the Gurung community. It is a day for family reunion, eating, drinking and merry making. In Kathmandu, they also organize parades to show their cultural delights.
