TEHRAN, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- Iran's security and intelligence forces on Tuesday arrested two suspects in connection to the deadly "terrorist" attack in the southwestern city of Izeh in Khuzestan province, semi-official Mehr news agency reported.
The operation was jointly conducted on Tuesday morning by Iran's Intelligence Ministry, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps and police, Mehr quoted Abbas Hosseini-Pouya, the prosecutor general of Khuzestan province's capital of Ahvaz, as saying.
Two suspects were arrested and two others killed after an exchange of fire with the security forces in the operation, he added.
Seven people, including a 10-year-old boy and a woman, were killed and 10 others were injured on Nov. 16 in a drive-by shooting attack on a market in Izeh. ■
