NEW YORK, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- The New York Knicks hammered the Golden State Warriors 132-94 on Tuesday to secure their eighth straight win towards an NBA playoff spot.
The Knicks took an 8-0 lead at the beginning and led all the way to the end.
Immanuel Quickley scored a team-high 22 points for the Knicks, followed by Jalen Brunson 21, Quentin Grimes 19 and RJ Barrett 18.
The Warriors have won just three away games this season, and coach Steve Kerr said they have yet to find their edge.
Elsewhere, the Chicago Bulls tamed the Miami Heat 113-103, the Utah Jazz beat the Detroit Pistons 126-111, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 105-91, and the Washington Wizards edged the Phoenix Suns 113-110. ■
