ISLAMABAD, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- A soldier and two civilians were killed in an attack in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Monday, an army statement said.
It was a suicide blast that happened in Miran Shah area of North Waziristan district, the military's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations said in the statement.
A civilian was also injured in the attack, the statement added.
It was the second suicide attack in the district over the last few days.
Earlier on Thursday, a soldier and a civilian were killed in a terrorist attack that left nine civilians injured. ■
