SINGAPORE, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- Singapore reported 1,540 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total tally to 2,191,597.
A total of 109 cases are currently warded in hospitals, with six of them held in intensive care units, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Health.
No new deaths from COVID-19 were reported on Tuesday, leaving the total death toll unchanged at 1,710. ■
