BEIJING, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- The Netherlands and South Korea collected two gold medals each on the last day of the Short Track Speed Skating World Cup in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Sunday.

Olympic champion Suzanne Schulting, who had won the women's 500m (1) for the Netherlands on Saturday, triumphed in the 1,000m in one minute and 30.593 seconds, followed by Kristen Santos-Griswold of the United States in 1:30.615 and Germany's Anna Seidel in 1:30.738.

Schulting's compatriot Yara van Kerkhof took the women's 500m (2) gold medal after an almighty collision in the final meters with a time of 44.372, and another Dutch skater Michelle Velzeboer finished second in 44.499.

On the men's side over 500m distance, Kazakhstan's Denis Nikisha won gold in 41.850, with China's Zhong Yuchen finishing fifth in 42.343.

Park Ji-won of South Korea claimed the gold medal in the men's 1,000m in 1:24.573, and Canada's Steven Dubois and Latvia's Roberts Kruzbergs took silver and bronze medals respectively.

The South Korean team of Kim Gil-li, Lee So-youn, Seo Whi-min and Shim Suk-hee won the women's 3,000m relay in 4:12.963, ahead of Canada and Hungary. Canada won gold in the men's 5,000m relay.
